The Fox & Hound is small and cozy restaurant in the very centre of Sofia (2 minutes walking distance from the main shopping street). It combines the welcoming ambience and the generous choice of drinks of an English pub with the original, elegant menu of a casual dine-in restaurant.
Shortly after it’s opening in 2001 The Fox & Hound became a favourite place for informal gatherings of friends and business partners.
The charm of The Fox & Hound gets under the skin already when entering the place – the English country side interior, designed with style and sense for details, gives feeling of warmth, coziness and tradition. The music offers choice of classic rock songs, followed by The Poughs and Dubliners. The fireplace and the air-conditioner secure additional comfort in the cold winter evenings and hot summer days. There is a special area for non-smokers; and the cable TV provides the latest local and international sport events.
The menu includes classical dishes from Bulgaria, Europe and the Island, as well as original, carefully created The Fox & Hound recipes. The regularly updated wine list features grape varieties and wine cellars from different parts of the world. The bar offers broad menu of items, starting with lager and stout on the tab and ending with choice of single malt whiskey and French cognac. The prices are all medium ranged and affordable. The constant presence of new menu items and promotions provides pleasant surprise for the guests. Payment is accepted both in cash and by most credit cards.
The Fox & Hound is able to respond to every occasion: to prepare a cup of highest quality coffee for quick e-mail check (the place offers free access to wi-fi), to accommodate office lunch, business dinner or family event; to offer relaxing time in the weekend afternoon with delicious, home made desserts or refreshing cocktails; to provide exiting atmosphere and pints of beer for favourite sport events and to arrange a taxi, “you drink we’ll drive” or city map for you.
Due to the limited number of places (40) we recommend that you book a table in advance – you can make it by phone as well. Our friendly staff will take care of the rest.
